Research
Dear Respondent,
Gyula City Municipality, together with its twin towns, has launched the “Making Sustainable Communities: Network For Local Green Deals” (SUSCOMNET) project with the aim of engaging a broad range of local residents in dialogue about sustainability and the future of Europe. Within the framework of the project, we organise events that provide citizens with opportunities to exchange ideas on sustainability, climate neutrality, the challenges of the green transition, and the local-level impacts of the EU’s new growth strategy.
The primary focus of our network is to examine how sustainability is reflected at the local level and to explore the extent to which local communities are engaged in thinking about the future of Europe. We aim to assess the similarities and differences that exist across the participating countries, as well as the opportunities for cross-border cooperation among citizens to strengthen sustainable municipalities and local communities.
In the first phase of the project, we aim to conduct a comprehensive study to assess the awareness and interest of local residents and decision-makers regarding the topics mentioned above, as well as to gather concrete experiences and best practices.
By completing the questionnaire, you can also contribute to the development of the town of Gyula. If the future of our community is important to you, please support our work by sharing your opinions and experiences!
Completing the questionnaire is voluntary, and responses are anonymous. Your data will be processed only in aggregated form, and respondents cannot be identified in any way.
